Illum-The Crystal Cave

"You will stand aside from my princess!" Eraq Forr said as he fired another shot from his blaster pistol.

The saber wielding assassin deflected the green blaster bolt back at the snow.

Eraq ducked and drew his own saber, igniting it while aiming his blaster pistol at the other bounty hunter.

"I don't think you realize what your getting into" The assassin said as he moved his yellow-green blade behind him, in a shien stance and removed the hood of his heavy coat, reavealing a young face.


A transmission came through the saber wielding hunter's com-link.
"Valen whatever you need to find, find it fast because we've got company!"

Valen? Valen Kerrisan? Eraq thought to himself as Valen charged at the Kel-Dor King.

Eraq quickly switched his green blade off and fell to his knees.

"Valen Kerrisan. Where is your master?" The Kel-Dor hunter said, holstering his blaster.

Valen stopped short and slid across the snow covered floor of the caves, his green blade inches from the Kel-Dor's face.

"My master is dead, bounty hunter!" Valen said, standing over Eraq.
"That pains me to hear, young Jedi. He was a dear friend, and a great ally" Eraq replied, removing the face mask of his heavy coat.

"Master Forr!?" Valen replied, switching his blade off....

Destiny.

One small word that can save the galaxy...or destroy it.

Storm looked on the grave of his former Padawan. It had been twelve years since he took the trials and became a Jedi, but Storm never found the need to take on another. He felt the approach of Master Uvaris. "Storm my old friend how have you been?"

"I have been well. More than can be said for the rest of the order. I know what you are here for and the answer is yes. It's not something I want to do but who am I took deny my destiny."

Uvaris sighed with relief. "Thank you. There are so few of us left that have the necessary experience to be on the council."

Storm nodded. "The war has taken a toll on us all, but have faith. The Force is with us my friend." He smiled and turned from the grave, walking with Uvaris to take his seat on the Jedi Council.

Illum- The Crystal Caves

Valen switched his blade off and clipped it to his belt.

As the two friends embraced they felt a disturbance in the force.
It seemed as though the frozen planet had become even colder.

"Princess, My name is Valen Kerrisan. I was sent by your father Kento to rescue you. We must move quickly before whatever darkness that Master Forr and I sense arrives." Valen explained, extending his hand to help her up.

"Please, your highness. There is not much time" Valen said, lifting the princess up to her feet.

"Valen! Hurry it along, whoever these guys are they're in coming hot and fast!" Avix Zhet yelled over the Comlink.

Valen and Eraq looked at each other.

...the Sith hand landed outside of the caves...

Kendra looked confused first these two were about to fight each others and now all of sudden they were friends. Both of them were Jedi wich added more confusion to her mind but it seemed that the younger one knew her father or at least that is what he claimed. Kendra thought a moment before taking the mans hand and she was lifted up from the ground. Kendra heard some one speaking trough the other mans comlink and when she looked at the two Jedi she saw that something wasn't right.

"How do i know that you are the good guys and not the ones out there?" she asked and pointed towards the exit.

As the Shuttle landed outside the cave, snow flew up in clouds, shrouding the craft in a white fog. As it fell, the hatch dropped on the ship, and Sith troopers began emerging in two parallel lines from within. When all had planted themselves uniformly on the planet surface in two lines, twelve on each side, the hooded Sith then emerged from the ship, walking in between the lines. When he reached the front of the lines and continued walking, the troopers marched behind.

The Sith drew his cloak closely to his body, shielding the fierce cold and wind of Illum as he lead his troopers to the cave. His eyes were fixed on the ground as he walked briskly through the snow, thinking of the prize that may be inside the cave. Whether he would carry out business in the way his superiors would like, or in the way he would prefer, would rely on the actions of his prey...

WHO ARE YOU AND WHY AM I HERE

Storm was leaving the new council chambers when he decided to go for a walk. He walked through the temple ages older than the one on Coruscant. He didn't know where he was going but he knew that there was some sort of purpose to it. He came to the Infirmary wing where the injured were brought after the sacking of Coruscant and the following riots and violence towards the Jedi. He noticed a teen assisting the medic on duty. He watched him as he tended to the wounded and the calmness that came over them as he tended him. Storm reached out with the force and felt how greatly it flowed through the boy, who looked to be fifteen or sixteen.

He called the youngster over.

"What is your name, boy?"
"Olden Lamm, Master" The boy repied
"Who is your master?" Storm asked.
"I have no master, I wasn't chosen so I volunteered as a medic, Master."
"That is not your destiny. The force flows strongly through you. If you so choose I will take you as my Padawan and you will be trained as a Jedi."

Olden thought for a moment, Storm quietly appraising the boy as he thought. His answer was just how Storm had hoped. Without any sense of emotion, neither elation or disappointment, except for the conviction of what he believed Olden said "If it is the will of the force, Master Shin."

Storm nodded, "It is. You must know two things if you are to be my Padawan. First, my name is Storm, and second, you are to act in the manner of a Jedi, NOT of a Padawan. I will not have you calling me Master or wearing the traditional trappings of a Padawan. We will be going into some tough predicaments and I don't need for a Sith warrior to realize that you are a mere apprentice. Do you understand."

"Yes, Mast...err, Storm." Olden corrected himself after a scowl from Storm.

Storm continued. "Also your training will be more intense than those of other Padawans, not only because of my methods but also because you have a lot of catching up to do. Meet me in the council chambers in two standard hours to make this pairing official. Then we shall go to Ilum to get you a crystal for your Saber."

Olden nodded. "Yes sir" and he went back into the infirmary and spoke with the Medic. Storm turned and walked back towards his new quarters.

Destiny.

The years of disarray and dissolution had not necessarily been bad on Germane. Still loosely serving a riddled and torn Republic, he thought of it instead as not a Republic force at all. It was a guild of mercenaries, unhappy and unwilling to stand by the Sith. The mercenaries had taken to 0nderon, Kashyyyk, and Trandosha routes and had reverted some time ago to guerilla insurrection in open channels and especially spaceports. Wookies and Trandoshans actually made up quite a sizeable force, and still many continued to join. Looked on as an experienced and hardened member of the task force, Germane’s polished dark armour had since tarnished and peeled….a testament to years of service.

As of now, he was currently in a small formation of stolen Czerka armed shuttles, a favourite amongst the thieves. It constituted for a huge percentage of band’s vessels. Surrounded by belted-in mercenaries, the trip was a fallback after a score to a hideout on Trandoshan. He thought to himself, [(who cares about the money, l am getting all the fights l need, and l am only getting better.)]

"how do I know I can trust either of you!?" The Princess asked.
"because your highness, I was sent by your father. I've tracked you for two years." Valen pleaded.

"Those men outside seek to kill you, Princess" Eraq interrupted.
"If I sought to kill you, you would already by dead Princess" Valen explained, extending his hand.

Kendra reluctantly grabbed the young Jedi's hand and followed he and the Kel-Dor to the cave entrance, where a dark armored warrior awaited them...

"Stand aside, Sith" Valen said, gripping his saber tightly.

Eraq stood between the Sith warriors and the princess and un-holstered his blaster pistol...

"You're between me and my way out, Sithspawn." Valen said as he ignited his saber...

Almost as soon as the group reached the cave entrance, three figures became visible within it.

"Stand aside, Sith" a voice came from a young looking man, gripping a unactivated lightsaber.

Another un-holstered a blaster pistol, and positioned himself in front of a young girl, whom the Sith assumed was his target.

How opportune..perhaps more than what he came for was meant to be collected..

"You're between me and my way out, Sithspawn" the young Jedi spoke again, igniting his saber.

The Sith troopers fanned out, blocking the cave entrance behind their master. The Sith drew his own lightsaber, which looked ragged and beaten to the core. Almost blackened by years of service...years of killing.

"And you're between me and my prize, Jedi scum" the Sith spoke in his hollow voice, igniting his lightsaber, pointing it down and away from him.

WHO ARE YOU AND WHY AM I HERE

Illum

Valen charged at the Sith, the green blade of his lightsaber pointed behind him in Shien stance. The young Jedi used all of his momentum to swing the blade down hard on top of the Sith's red blade. The Sith countered the blow, but barely. Valen retreated slightly, twirling his blade back to his shien stance and moved to his right, slicing through the air with his lightsaber, holding his blade parallel with the cave floor.

"Eraq, find another way out. I'll handle this Sith"
"Valen, my ship is-" Eraq began.
"Don't worry. Thats been taken care of. My pilot will find you. I didn't come this far to have some Sith beat me too it" Valen said, cutting him off.

"Now, Sith. Lets finish this" Valen said, his eyes narrowing as the Jedi focused on defeating his Dark opponent...
