Do not link to MP3 files or compressed files with MP3s in them including ZIP, RAR, etc. This will cause your account to get yellow carded.

Are youtube or other sites ok? What I mean is, if I were to link to a music video on youtube would that be acceptable?

Yeah, YT is ok because they deal with copyright issues. The only problem you will have is deleted videos not playing.

Direct links to MP3s and easy downloadable R1A@ content is forbidden since I don't have any interest receiving C&D letters from R1A@ regarding this site.
