Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Downloadable Content Review (Xbox360)
A while back, Lucasarts relased some Downloadable Content for the 360 TFU.
The first is the mission to the Jedi Temple:
meh? nothing special. You fight your way through the Jedi Temple on Coroscaunt for no rhyme or reason. I did the research beforehand and apparently your father's spirit sent you there? I don't know. The game just drops you in with no explanation, but the level ends up bieng kinda fun.
You fight through the Jedi Temple that is now overrun with Stormtroopers and come to the revelation that...YOU MIGHT BE GOING DOWN THE PATH OF DARKNESS! ahh, who didn't see that coming? Its kinda fun and probrably worth the $3 to download it.
The newest is Mission to Tatooine:
This level is wayy cooler. It provides some backstory this time around. The mission is called A Fragile Hope. It follows the storyline of IF you turned to the Darkside and killed Vader, this is how A New Hope would begin. I won't spoil too much, but the opening scene is cool.
You arrive on Tatooine in cool looking armor. It seems to be half Sith Stalker half Tusken Raider. You fight through the Dune Sea and arrive at Jabba's palace, fight some more baddies(including the rancor(the dumb rancor fights are so over repititive)) You fight Boba Fett, who goes down like a chump( Like father, like son?) and track R2-D2 and C-3PO to Mos Eisley, Docking bay 94 and engage the legend himself...Obi-Wan Kenobi. This fight is pretty cool, if you have the couple of bucks to spare, buy it.
The ending of the level leaves it open for future DLC? Keep your fingers crossed.
The Skinny: Pass on the Jedi Temple, save your money for the Tatooine Mission. Way better. I'd imagine more DLC will be coming with the release of the Ultimate Sith Edition and Lucasarts created a bunch more achievements to Live....
