Default Really?

That makes little-to-no sense. Explain.

It makes plenty of sense.

He may not be your typical anti-hero like Boromir but never the less he is.

He's the main chracter that we root for so in essence he is our hero of the story.

I don't know about you but I never thought of Fafalla as anything but a whipping pony for Bane.

Anyway as he's the hero of the book, its his book afterall and he's a tad bit evil, he becomes our anti-hero.

Anyway regardless he will allways be my (anti) hero.

Default Anti-Hero

l am not sure l follow.
l am not sure you exactly know what is an anti-hero.
Boromir was a true hero. Boromir was the major-captain of Gondor, warden of the southern kingdom. 0f his time, he was twice the hero Aragorn was - which is why Denethor took it so harshly and was one reason for his madness upon the tidings of his death. Boromir was well-known and loved far beyond the reaches of the white tower, a true hero that fought all his life - unlike the many other characters found in Lord of the Rings. (Legolas, Elrond, Aragorn, Gandalf, Faramir, Theoden) Simply put, Boromir's life can simply be summed up by close infighting surrounding M.Tirith, 0sgiliath, and Ithilien. He never took part in song and dance, he never took up a woman, he had no ambition in one day continuing the work of his father - all he did was lead men and fight. Do not even get me started concerning his final moments, his true colours - the mark of a true hero.

For all reasons, Bane is and should always be considered an anatagonist. A villainous and malevolent individual. Turning away from the traditions of the Sith, to install self imposed views on what the Sith should be - does not make the character anymore righteous. An evil anatagonist of a character mainly featured in a storyline as a central character does not autmoatically make for a protaganist. He is simply nothing more than a foe.

A typical anti-hero would be Scorpion. Sub-Zero. Venom. Etc.

So your saying I don't know what a anti-hero is and then your calling Sub-Zero and Venom who's a blatant villain anti-hero's.

See ya.

Come on now, be a sport.
Venom is quite possibly the best known anti-hero. Venom, is not evil by nature. Venom is an obssessive, mind-warped individual with a harboured hate against another individual. But that is about it. ln his time and time again struggle with himself, Venom has always stayed true to his motto - only SpiderMan should be made to pay and suffer. This point is why Venom is not known for collateral damage, and he takes large steps in order to not harm the innocent. Hell, Venom has even on occassion stopped public muggings, as he still retains his Eddie Brock morality. Does not this sound like an anti-hero?

Sub-Zero is another definitive example. He is an assassin by nature, with an assassin's morality. But after finding out the Lin K's true colours, he has since disappeared into the shadows, only surfacing in his search for his lost brother, or the odd time helping out Lui Kang against the forces of outer worlds. Does not this sound like another?

Tell me, what makes up your ideal anti-hero?

Hey I am not engaging in this argument. I am going to say something related to the topic title.
Everything about Star Wars is perfectly orchestrated. It all points to one possible ending. Firstly, I do not believe that any person living today, could create a story and perhaps a movie which even compare to the two trilogies we have now. I do not know if anyone agrees with me but every little detail worked the way it should have.
