I've had more than one person come up to me claiming that Jango lives. They claim that he put a clone is his bounty hunter outfit to cheat death. When i first saw how he died, my first thought was no way, he can't be dead, no Fett would be stupid enough to challange a Jedi Master with no sort of advantage.

I Think he had his clone purposfully (sorry about the spelling) killed so that he could "retire"

When he attacked Mace he DID have an advantage. He waited for the perfect time and attacked the highest ranking and most powerful (biggest threat) Jedi in the arena. As in every battle, though, variables happened that even the odds and even put Jango at a disadvantage and the results were fatal for Mr Fett.

Another thing to consider is that a few moments earlier Fett single handedly killed a Jedi Master without even breaking a sweat.

This trend is getting stupid. The only characters that should be debated around are Plu Koon and Mace Windu. They have reasonable exits for survival, but even with these cases the likely outcome is still their deaths.

Jango had his right wrist and head shaved right off. Clearly. Not a clone either. Darth Tyrannus was with him, and would sense the clone and feel insulted in its presence. And Jango WOULD NOT leave his younger and vulnerable Boba around like that.
Cai....Hardly in any instance, or at any time, did Jango have an advantage over Mace. The only time, however brief it was, was when Mace vaulted himself over the edge of the suite to the stadium ground to avoid flames. Jango would not take advantage of this because he could not, and he knew it would be foolish for him to try. Jango kills of Trebor because the master was not the greatest of combatants, and he was not targeting Jango anyways. He was solely targeting Count Dooku, and quickly aimed in-close shots turned out to be lethal. Trebor is not well known as a fighter anyway. Later, while grounded, l do not know why he simply did not avoid the reek, but whatever. He pays for it though, and is simply not even a threat to a determined Mace Windu.

while the "is he alive" trend ia kinda dumb keep in mind there are a lot of people who don't know nearly as much as most of you guys around here...including me lol. But yeah....he's dead.

I understand that there are some noobie SW fans out there, but I do believe that Jango's death was quite obvious...

Not a chance in hell, is any living creature surviving decapitation. Even the species of the dictyoptera NEED their head atop their shoulders, the brain can be dormant but it still needs to be connected. Just like a brain dead human living off life-support. But a headless person is entirely different than a brain dead one. 0nly feasible example that l can think of is a chicken running circles around after having it's head cleaved off, minutes before collapsing and twitching. But this is not survival.....

The "Jango is alive" [dung] is coming from Supershadow, so , yeah, people should know better....
