Yeah it would have ended up worse. He would have got killed and left Luke without a trainer. Luke wouldn't have been able to fight Vader over Endor. Palpatine wouldn't have needed to torture his sliced-up by Vader body. Vader wouldn't have killed Sidious. Sidious continues reign by placing himself in clones. Sith Empire rules until Vong show up.

Maybe, I don't know if Yoda would have had the chance. The first attack was a surprise, something Sidious would prepare for a second time. Remember, Sidious knew he survived, but the clone troopers couldn't find him.

at that point you finally saw fear from sidious, one he was afraid that vader was in danger and two he was afraid yoda might attack again

So? The old man finally found a reason to pee in his robes. I don't see that strengthening your position. Unless I'm missing something?

so i think if yoda came back he would have either ran away or become desperate and end up losing to yoda. either way the jedi regain power, plus if yoda stayed with sidious anakin would have died.

Either I don't see your logic or I'm confused. Are you saying Palpy doesn't think he can beat Yoda? Cause I don't get that. In fact, the opposite is exactly why Yoda ran away. I think Yoda realized Palpy was too powerful.

Maybe we see differently because from my point of view Yoda was winning that fight, he countered every move that Sidious made and was handling him very well. The reason he fell was because of his own attack and because he was just standing on the edge. Sidious did not want to fight yoda again.

I'm not saying Yoda wasn't doing well or that he couldn't win; I'm just wondering why you think Sidious didn't want to fight him again.

I didn't think Sidious was that strong. When he was loosing the battle in his office and Ankain had to save him. He could have finished him off.

Has for Yoda don't you think him and obi-one could have kept there religion alive? There were other survivors no?

Luke was very poorly trained. He calls himself a "Jedi master" When Originally all Jedi Start from younglings. In my opinion He should have trained much more. I also found out by some threads on this forums that he got married. I guess Yoda didn't teach him any Jedi laws. It seems "The new Jedi" Are very different from the old.
