I think Anikin would win because he is strong with the force and could easerly nock Grievous' lightsabers out of his hands or force choke him to death. But Grievous can't use the force
Grievous could start hacking Anikin with his lightsabers but Anikin would be to quick for him. What do you think? |

Grievous would take this one. In the episode three novel Mace says he fought Grievous to a stalemate but would not be able to beat him. He said that Obi-Wan's form had no weakness and that he was the only Jedi that Mace thought could beat Grievous. In the novel Obi-wan's total reliance on the force was what led to his victory.

Yes, but that book was based on an early draft of the .script, like most movie novels are. So it doesn't make it 100% canon. George Lucas even said that the clone war cartoons were part of the SW story. And in that, Mace Windu was able to beat Grievous by crushing his lungs with the Force. Which explains his coughing.

It's times like these that I really hate how he was portrayed in the movie. The cartoon depicted him as this cyborg, mysterious badass up until some obscure force power crushed his abdomen (what the..)
I can't really say, I guess. In terms of the cartoon, I bet Anakin would have a hard time hanging, but the movie he definitely pronounced his dominance.

I'd venture to say if Obi-Wan could do it, Anakin could too. They always go on and on about how often Anakin saves the day and Obi-Wan's life, so it's really his immaturity that leads to his downfalls, rather than having lesser ability. He and Obi-Wan were quite evenly matched in their battle in Episode III, too, so I don't think Grievous would be that much of a grave thread. Definitely give him a run for his money, though.
I also seem to remember the killing blow in Obi-Wan vs. Greivous being a blast, and certainly Anakin could do that. Disarming Greivous would still be a *****, however. Plus, by Revenge of the Sith, or by the time he's knighted a Jedi in Clone Wars and is well into his career, I don't see Anakin losing to someone of such lesser importance like Grievous, but that's a story observation. |

got to be anakin. grievous cant use the force and no matter how namy lightsabers he uses a force user should always have the upperhand (well a good force user like anakin and obi wan)
although in star wars battlefront 2 i got really into using grievous and he became a quality hero to use when playing as the driod army |

In ROTS, Anakin and Obi-Wan are brought before Grievous and they manage to destroy all the Magna Guards and droids in the room. The General then makes his escape by crushing the window and plunging into space. Just before he does this you can see Kenobi appearing in front of him and entering Soresu defence stance, while Anakin comes form the back and gets a "stand by" stance also. They are both very cautious and they don't dear attack Grievous. This shows that Anakin( although known for his mpulsiveness) does take Grievous seriously and doesn't dear to attack him right away.
