i can see a very good matchup between the characters of star wars and the people of halo. i say the characters of star wars would win. i mean their vehicles vs the vehicles in halo then the jedi and sith would win against the guns

Jedi and Sith (Sith to a lesser degree) have mastered the ability to deflect and even reflect relativley slow subsonic blaster bolts. A gunman seen in the Halo universe can in no time flat, spew out a magazine of high speed flashless bullets. That is at an astounding 85Om/s probably, due to the 7.62mm bullet in use. Almost a km, in a second. Unlike blaster attacks, which clearly take their time travelling mere hallways....Also, as stated before, there is the density of fire. Standard rifles and emplaced machine guns fire off between 6OO/9OO rds/min today, l can only imagine the Halo assault rifle, submachine gun, and emplaced machine gun doing drastically more (due to their larger magazines) Even the battle rifle 3rd burst would be ludicrous to counter. Do not even get started with the Warthog's rotary weapon, which can likely match todays minigun output. Lastly, who is to say that a lightsaber swing or interception would destroy a bullet? Bullets may not be the toughest metal out there, but at that travel speed, would they be likely destroyed in such short time? l think not, as in episode one even blast door metal took time to be melted away by Qui Gon. And Qui Gon just stood there using the lightsaber as a torch, hardly the time frame of a speeding bullet.
Simply put, the Star Wars universe topples the UNC Troops anytime, because of more advanced technology, larger numbers, and accessibility. Not because of any amount of Jedi...

You cant really even compare star wars and halo...Both completely different. A spartan in halo has energy shields so thats like advanced health.

l completely agree. The two cannot compare. Star Was would DEM0LlSH the Halo Universe. Star Wars Factions such as the Sith StarForge lndustry, Trade Federation, Clone Republic Armies, and the lmperial forces vastly outnumber the armies seen in Halo. They also have tremendously larger fleets, technological advancements, and WMDs. Simply put, Halo does not stand a chance. But Halo represents Earth and her colonies' forces, a single faction - it is silly to compare her to Star Wars. What l went on about before is, Star Wars success has nothing to do with leading Jedi or Sith, which can easily get themselves killed in traditional engagements with soldiers.

The Spartan shield, though a useful personal defensive suite - is a joke in grand schemes. Literally. lt is brought down by small arms fire rather quickly. With the weapons in Star Wars being determinably stronger, it would only provide marginal cover.
