Oh come off it, Mass Effect? All they got that's uber powerful is/was Soveriegn, the gigantic bio-warship. Fleet of those might cause some heavy damage but let's get serious here. Most of the vessels in ME were missle-based and didn't really have cannons like star wars vessels. Meaning? Meaning that ships of SW could whoop the heck out of anything Mass Effect has. Even Soveriegn, and that's counting on the empire doing most of the fighting. Trust me, and imperial SD would last a lot longer than those alliance, what's-there-name ships. You know which one's I'm talking about, they were in the Battle of the Citadel at the end of the game.

Sounds just like the Halo rings, if not any other super weapon concieved by star wars. The ability to cause mass destruction or death is a rather common element in most forms of futuristic/sci-fi media. Take earth for example. Far too many movies or even cartoons that show it being blown to bits. The best example I would say has to be the film "Titan A.E.". This will be fun to debate, but SW wins regardless of any other movie or game you compare it to. I'd say the Covenant from halo have more of a chance than anyone from Mass Effect. Have you seen the size of the Covenant's armada before they decided to split up? It was massive and made the UNSC's lives a living hell in space.

The Reavers can eliminate all manners of civilization, and are the perpetrators of all manners of progression. Again, Reavers win because civilization begins and ends with them. I laugh at the Covenant. The Reavers can very well eliminate the Covenant if they wanted. Again, I side with Mass Effect. Then again, I'm a total Mass Effect fanboy.

Can you laugh at the Imperial Armada at its full strength? Or, go against the Star Forge when its outputting vessels at full tilt?

I doubt the forunner dreadnaughts are that powerful. I played Halo Wars and I saw what they looked like. The ugliest ships I've ever seen. Regardless if it's forerunner, UNSC, or covenant, there'll be great damage tolls in combat. But you bring up a hidden thought. let's take all the known fleets of SW and pit them against unsc, forunner, covenant, and flood-controlled fleets.

The Forerunners were a dreadfully advanced race. Far beyond that of the Covenant, and in addition - they achieved such a level thousands of years ago. ln fact, one should be able to evidently say the Forerunners top the Covenant, the Protoss, the Goa uld, the Maians, the Skedar, the Intellion, and Star Trek/Star Wars alike. They would most probably be comparable to the Asgard, or the Xel'Naga other woefully advanced civilizations far beyond most Sci-Fi.
Remember, just because ships look buldged and ugly, does not mean at all that they are useless or degenerate.

As far as Halo Wars went, music was terrible, combat was too simple, campaign length is an issue, plus like Halo 3, there's a bloody cliffhanger ending. What in the world is up with Bungie not finishing things they start?
