Are there any instances in cannon, particularly old republic, of a jedi being indebted to another, either a life debt or some other feeling of being indebted to another person for the help given them?

I thought that was a wookie thing....well atleast i have never heard of a jedi being in a life debt...i guess that could be possible if the Jedi would feel that way but then again i think it doesn't really fit in to the Jedi ways.

Usually primitive and developing beings hold these sacred seals. Like humans eons ago through the ages. The Gungan Chief also immediately recognized the sign. Not too sure why the wookies still play by the rules.
